A Midwinter Reset

“I recognized winter. I saw it coming (a mile off, since you ask), and I looked it in the eye. I greeted it and let it in.”

(Katherine May, Wintering)

By this point of the year, a lot of us are running on momentum - or even fumes.

At The Reset, we believe in wintering, and in welcoming winter as a natural pause and invitation to slow down.

Winter is an opportunity to nourish ourselves. To turn inward. To listen more closely to ourselves and what we truly need.

If the first half of the year has felt full, noisy, emotionally heavy, or simply nonstop, this workshop is designed to offer a meaningful pause.

As the winter solstice approaches, we invite you to join our midwinter reset.

On Sunday 28 June, join us for a restorative afternoon of reflection, grounding, mindfulness, and gentle self-inquiry. Together, we’ll explore what it means to navigate this season with more steadiness, self-compassion, and intention.

Through guided coaching exercises, reflective journalling, somatic practices, and meditation, we’ll create space to reconnect with ourselves beneath the pace and pressure of everyday life.

We’ll also introduce a practical tool designed to help you better understand your current capacity, energy, and emotional needs - helping you move through the rest of winter with greater awareness and care.

These sessions are intentionally designed to feel supportive and grounding.

We believe that some of the most meaningful breakthroughs happen not through force - but through space, reflection, and community. And sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is pause long enough to hear ourselves again.
