Getting to know.... Kasia the Kinesiologist
Kinesiologist | Morning Ritual Devotee | Vintage Treasure Hunter
What inspired you to become a Kinesiologist at TCW?
I love the synergy between myself, kinesiology as a modality and TCW ethos. I love working with clients who can benefit from the other services TCW has to offer. 'Curated' wellness is important for individuals who may be on their own unique healing journey. I also love working with like-minded souls who all come together with their own unique gifts they have to offer to people.

Are you from Melbourne?
Yes. I have Polish heritage; my mother migrated here in the 80's. I spent most of my life travelling for work in my 20s & 30s but have always loved coming home. Melbourne is where my heart will always live and my soul will always have European and Polish elements that will live with me wherever I am. That's why I love it here because I can get in touch with my Australian and European roots easily here. All I need to do is step into a Polish delicatessen and I feel immediately transported to Europe.
What’s your go-to comfort food?
My home-made Polish chicken broth and slow cooked stews, Pierogi (Polish dumplings) and Polish cheesecake is my kryptonite.
What’s a song or album you’ll never get tired of?
Chantress Seba has the voice of an angel and I use her music in my sessions. Her voice is very soothing and I play her music at home all the time. It's the kind of music that instantly relaxes and soothes.
Best vacation you’ve ever been on and why?
It would have to be my elopement in Paris and honeymoon in the Amalfi Coast and Greece. The Mediterranean ocean, vibe and food has such a positive effect on my mind, body and soul. This trip was the first trip we took post-Covid and I will never take travelling for granted. Everything seemed extra special on that trip. Every sunrise, meal, restaurant, beach walk, hike, flea market, park, gallery... felt EXTRA beautiful on that trip, even the simplicity of people watching in sweet little street cafés in Paris was something I will always treasure and remember.
Go-to weekend activity when you’re not working?
I LOVE vintage shopping, ever since I was a kid. I absolutely love treasure hunting and finding one-off pieces. I always source vintage flea markets in every country I visit. It's been this way since forever! I also love to re-make my pieces. I was a kid with a sewing machine and would alter my own clothes so they were bespoke to me and my style. That's definitely bled into my adult life. I love playing around with my vintage pieces and giving them a facelift. It's a creative way to express myself.
One wellness habit you can't live without?
My morning rituals are EVERYTHING to me — they began as discipline and now are a devotion to myself. I begin the day waking up earlier than the others at 5:30/6am, I am able to really check in with myself and tend to what I need to for myself and then be present for my family when they wake up. This automatically enhances the mood and energy within the household.
As soon as I wake — I begin my breathwork in bed, followed by warm lemon water, checking in with my body, stretching, gentle yoga or movement. If the sun is out, I will go outside and sit in the sun to wake my body. Gently opening up my eyes in the natural sunlight signals the brain “it's time to wake up!” I avoid all screen time until I do this.
If I can sit/stretch on some grass and do some grounding that is a bonus! I wrap the rituals up with my kinesiology energetic 'switching' technique that wakes up the brain and aids the left and right brain hemispheres to communicate more effectively. It improves focus, concentration — the brain instantly wakes up!
