Getting to know... Kathi Peukert
Kathi is a breathwork teacher who guides others in using the breath as a powerful tool for calm, clarity, and connection.

What inspired you to become a breathwork teacher and work at Trinity?
I was inspired to become a breathwork teacher after experiencing firsthand how powerful the breath can be. I originally turned to breathwork during a dark and stressful season of my life, and what surprised me most was how quickly it shifted my nervous system. Within minutes, I felt calmer, clearer, and more grounded. Over time, breathwork became more than just a tool - it became a practice that helped me build resilience, process emotions, and feel more connected to myself. That transformation made me want to share it with others.
Working at Trinity feels like a natural fit because it’s a space that values growth, community, and holistic wellbeing. I’m drawn to environments where strength is built not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. I’m really excited to contribute to a space that supports people in becoming stronger, more focused, and more grounded from the inside out.
Are you from Melbourne? If no, where and what brought you here?
I’m originally from Berlin, Germany. Born and raised there. Now Melbourne is my chosen home for the past 10 years and I’m beyond grateful to give back to the community of this city that has given me so much over the years.
What's your go-to comfort food?
Vietnamese food, I couldn’t live without a good Pho or Vermicelli salad!
What's your go-to weekend activity when you're not working?
Catching up with friends, going to the gym but also having a good old boogie at an outdoor event.
If you were a superhero, what would your superpower be?
Oh, flying definitely flying!
What's one thing you've learned in the past year that you'll never forget?
That my short-term memory can be quite bad sometimes :D
Oh, and that flamingos aren't born pink!
You can join Kathi’s breathwork classes on Sundays from 11:15 am – 12:00 pm.
