The Story Behind the Artwork at Trinity

By Trinity Scarf, Founder

If you’ve visited Trinity, you’ve likely paused - even briefly - at the large artwork that greets you at reception.

It’s often the first thing people comment on. Before they check in. Before they head to class. Before they step into the bathhouse.

It quietly sets the tone.

That piece, titled The Flow, was created by Melbourne artist Jessie Breakwell - and it was never simply intended as decoration. From the very beginning, it was about creating the vibe.

Friendship First

Jessie and I were friends long before Trinity had walls. When I began shaping the vision for the space, I knew it needed more than beautiful interiors. It needed something grounding. Something expressive. Something that reflected strength and softness at once.

Her work felt like the most natural place to begin.

We spoke often about the feeling we wanted Trinity to hold - a balance of embodiment and stillness, energy and restoration. The elongated feminine form within The Flow speaks to that duality. It reflects the rhythm that runs through so much of our work here: movement and pause, effort and ease.

A Moving Meditation

Jessie has described her painting process as a form of meditation - a quiet rhythm that mirrors what many of us experience on the mat or in breathwork.

When you stand before the piece, there’s something expansive about it. Layered. Textured. Alive. It invites you to pause.

And over the past year, many of you have done exactly that.

Beyond Our Walls

So many members and guests have asked whether the artwork would ever be available beyond Trinity’s walls.

We’re delighted to share that Jessie has now released a strictly limited edition of just 20 prints of The Flow. Each is hand-signed, individually numbered, and finished with hand-applied copper embellishment.

Once this edition sells out, it won't be reproduced.

For those who feel connected to the piece - who have experienced it within the Trinity space - this is an opportunity to bring that same sense of grounding and strength into your own environment.

You can view the edition here.

At Trinity, we believe spaces shape how we feel. Thoughtful art, intentional design, and meaningful collaborations are part of that experience.

This piece has been part of our story since day one. It feels special to see it evolve again.
